CH Coonyham Hippie Chick of FogCity (aka "Joy") Brown Classic Tabby w/White Age 5 Months

Hippie Chick - the Cat: Our foundation female came to us in 1998, during Advent. To celebrate the season, we called her "Joy". She is joyful, free spirited, silly, and very affectionate. She has an incredibly loud purr. Joy has large ears with beautiful lynx tipping, square muzzle, strong chin, and gorgeous big eyes. She is a solid girl -- at 2 years old, she weighs 14 pounds. Joy received her championship title in TICA at 8 months of age, and at her insistence, was retired from showing. Hippie Chick - the History: Hippies are a colorful part of San Francisco history, especially during the 1960's. Herb Caen, a popular San Francisco newspaper columnist has been attributed with the word, referring to the free spirited young people as "hippy dippy". Joy gave us a beautiful litter and is now retired. She and her grandson, Elliot, live with a wonderful family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
