Fog City Cattery Facilities

We moved from San Francisco to Connecticut (central shoreline area) in 2001. Below is a picture of our Connecticut home. This house is larger and affords our cats more room to play and more windows to sun themselves. The cats have a great view of the front yard and back gardens, where they have seen song birds, hawks, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, woodchucks, wild turkey and even deer.

Connecticut Maine Coon Cattery

Our cattery is located in our walkout basement. The room is sunny, heated and spacious, with a view of the garden. There are large walk-in enclosures that we use to seperate males from the females. All cats take turns being allowed run of the room.
NOTE: Cats that do not spray (mark territory) have run of the house.

Our kittens are born in the master bedroom where they can be closely observed and attended to when necessary. This gives Mom cat a quiet stress free environment to raise her babies. After kittens are vaccinated, Mom cat and babies are moved to the Kitten Room. The Kitten Room is a safe sunny place where kittens can play, explore and become better socialized with people and other cats.

Our young cats and altered pets are allowed run of the house. Our cats enjoy each other's company, as well as the company of us humans.
